My introduction to yoga and meditation came from my parents at a young age through the practice of Yogasanas and Transcendental Meditation. Following in their footsteps, I became a teacher of meditation when I was 20 and upon retutning to Maharishi Univeristy from Hawaiʻi in 2004, I began a more intensive practice of Hatha yoga, under my teacher Sue Berkey.
I am currently completing my graduate degree in Vedic Science at Maharishi University this June and am embarking on my journey, into the greatest depths of transformation I can unfold in my practice of Yoga and art of living all life as Yogasana.
I have been teaching Maharishi Yogasanas at the Raj: Ayurvedic Health Spa in Vedic City, Iowa the past four years and have been teaching my own classes downtown Fairfield Iowa since January of this year. I teach Lasya Yoga, the yoga of Grace, as taugh by Sofia Diaz and her Student, my Yoga Guru, Sue Berkey. I will be taking a teacher training in the lineage of Krishnamacharyas this coming July and will continue teaching Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Krama Yoga, as well as Spin Classes, in the NEW STUDIO downtown Fairfield, Iowa.
